Neuromuscular re-education or movement training is a form of physical therapy that uses proper postural and joint alignment, breathing and muscle stabilzation to restore normal movement patterns that may have been affected by injury, surgery, poor body mechanics, or poor postures over time.
Therapeutic exercise refers to a wide range of physical activities that focuses on restoring and maintaining strength, endurance, flexibility, stability and balance. The goal of therapeutic exercise is to return an individual to a fully functioning, pain free state.
